U.S. and non-U.S. citizens will need a valid passport, which does not expire for more than 6 months after the end date of the study abroad program, both to enter other countries and return to the United States. Proof of a valid passport will be required either at the time of the application, or very shortly after acceptance to the program. Certain countries may also require a visa that allows you to enter and remain in that country for a specific reason. Apply for your passport or passport renewal now to avoid paying expedited fees closer to the application deadline.
